We´re in Azofra, which is just past Najera for anyone keeping up on the map! Kinda ran through Najera but it looked interesting, big river in the middle of it.

Spent yesterday in a gorgeous hostel in Ventosa but no sign of the internet, was a lovely little village though! Sheep wondering down the street by the church.

Must hurray as my net time is running out but we´re in the super fancy hostel at Azofra where they have rooms with only TWO beds in!!!! Imagine a room to ourselves with no snoring blokes in it!!!! :)

Highlight of the day: Zoe found a really big stick, it´s very cool, like a giant staff with a fork at the top which I hear is very celtic or something - I´m sure she´ll tell you about it. It really suits her and has a lovely feel! :)

Couldn´t quite keep up with the snail rescues today, I expect there were quite a few - Off grocery shopping now as apparently this place actually has a SHOP! Though it´s just a rumour at this stage....

Catch you all next time I see a computer!

p.s. Ta for the lovely texts! :)

p.s.s. Zoe says to say her staff is like walking beside a big mother elephant. :D

"It's lovely to hear of your exploits and to hear a little about the life of rural Spain. The Venerable Elephant Staff sounds like a beautiful gift. No doubt Susan's is waiting for her further along the path. x x"

"Hello, palook!

Got your postcards today, then went on a big stroll on the beach and got sunburnt. I hope you remembered your factor 50!

Big stick? Doesn't sound very lightweight... =D"
