Sandra Blogs About Our Camino To Santo Domingo de la Calzada
This morning the girls were in a queue for a hostel in Santo Domingo (Saint Sunday of the Pavement - so called because he spent a lot of time and effort repaving the old Roman Road for the benefit of the then present-day pilgrims - this was the eleventh century).

Well, at least their rucksacks were in the queue and they were off looking for a Post Office.
Susan didn't sound too good - she has a cold - so I suggested she had an early night and that they didn't go too far tomorrow.

"Zoe looks quite amazonian! She is barely recognisable, all tanned brown and muscular with new multicoloured clothing and her large staff! The staff which usually green turned a beautiful dark red colour today in the rain it was very impressive! :)"
