Cross Between A Lizard And A Slug >>

We saw a lot of bright orange slugs, and plenty of black ones but look at this guy - he's like some kind of cross between a lizard and a slug!

Day 14 - Wednesday 16th May 2007 >>

Mum had intentionally arranged for Jackie's first day walking to be pretty short and, we thought, pretty easy. Unfortunately we didn't plan for the weather and this turned out to be one of the toughest days climbing upwards through gushing muddy streams ever!
After quite a lot of soaking we reached the really very nice Church Of Perse with the most interesting graveyard I've seen in years. After I had really annoyed mum and Jackie by spending ages photographing gravestones we moved on to Espalion which was a surprisingly attractive place.
