Mum adequately demonstrating our horror at reaching the top of the "hill from hell" only to find no view at all!!!

Day 28 - Wednesday 30th May 2007 >>

Ok I have virtually no memory of most of this day as I had a terrible night's sleep in a very small bed with my mum and I think i'd only had a couple of hours proper rest!
I almost collapsed part way up the hill to Peche Merle Caves (which we didn't visit as we'd been there before) and I had a hard job fighting mum's desire to put me in a taxi. I managed to walk all the way though!
During the afternoon I had my touching the void moment virtually crawling up the longest hill in the heat with no shade and snakes around.
Made it to Pasturat just in time for a soaking wet thunder storm and then promptly fell asleep and missed dinner.
Yawn!
