Although this was some of the easiest walking the entire trip, almost totally flat on dry paths my blisters reaching breaking point by lunchtime and have to take my shoes off completely and walk in my sandals.
Having winced all the way to Montcuq in the burning sun I manage to climb carefully down the hill oly to fall over twisting my ankle on the final 50m of road up to the gite!
Luckily the gite is run by a couple who not only can make the best vegetarian dinner ever but also the madame is a nurse who specialises in blisters and she patches me up with some very dodgy smelling brown stuff that just about gets me through the next day's walk to Lauzerte!
